Jeanette Martin
Jeanette Martin is known across Ontario as an accomplished singer, pianist, flautist, choral director and teacher with more than 40 years’ experience in multiple musical genres.
In 2023, Jeanette became the music director of Sugartones, a women’s competing barbershop-style chorus based in Alliston.
Prior to joining Sugartones, Jeanette founded Music in Motion Performing Arts Studio, a full-service performing arts studio offering both performance arts and personal development programming for students aged 2-18.
Jeanette is a Royal Conservatory of Music (RCM) certified teacher. Her students have won multiple RCM gold medals plus local, national and international scholarships and awards. In addition, Jeanette was Awarded by the public the Reader’s Choice Award for Best Piano Teacher.
